About Alerter
Alerter is a small command-line program that shows a macOS notification (alert) from the terminal or a script. It stays running until the user interacts with the alert or dismisses it. It then prints the result and exits, so a script can read the user's response and act on it.
It is written in Swift and built with Swift Package Manager. It suits people who automate tasks with shell scripts on a Mac and want a native notification that can also collect a simple reply.
