Privacy policy
wares.gg has no accounts and collects as little as a website can.
What is collected
The web server keeps standard access logs (IP address, requested URL, user agent, time) for security and error diagnosis. They are rotated and deleted on a schedule.
Page views and clicks on outbound links are counted with PeekLog, a first-party analytics system that runs on the same server and shares nothing with third parties. It records the page, the referrer, screen and viewport size, browser language, load time, scroll depth, time on page, the country derived from your IP address, and a visitor hash that is rebuilt from a daily salt so it cannot be tracked across days. The IP address is kept with the raw record for bot filtering. It sets no cookie; a random session id lives in your browser's session storage until the tab closes. You can opt out of the count for this browser at any time, which sets one cookie to remember the choice.
The corrections form stores what you type, plus an email address if you choose to give one, so we can follow up. Nothing else is stored about you.
What is not collected
No advertising networks, no third-party trackers, no fingerprinting scripts, no accounts, no newsletter. Your theme preference is stored in your own browser's local storage and never sent to the server.
Third-party websites
Every listing links to the developer's website, repository or app store. Those sites have their own privacy policies. Outbound links are opened without passing the full referring URL.
