Amp is an AI coding agent and development environment. You can run it on your own machine through its CLI and runner, or give each agent its own hosted environment, called an orb, where it keeps working after you close your laptop.
Agents can wake themselves through automations to check production, respond to events, and be controlled remotely, including from a phone. Threads can be shared with teammates for multiplayer work.
