About APatch
APatch patches the Android kernel through KernelPatch, providing root along with two module types: APM modules similar to Magisk's and KPM modules that inject code into the kernel itself using inline and syscall table hooks. It combines ideas from Magisk and KernelSU.
Strengths
- Supports both Magisk-style and true kernel-level modules
- Patches the boot image directly without needing a custom kernel source
Limitations
- Kernel code injection is powerful and easy to break a device with
- Requires an unlocked bootloader
