About ArtCraft
ArtCraft is the ArtCraft team's AI image and video creation studio. It combines prompting with visual controls, including layered image composition, 3D scene staging, camera placement, posing and background removal.
The app is open source, with Windows and macOS releases, a hosted browser app and Linux source-build instructions. The studio can use third-party subscriptions or other compute; the optional hosted generation service sells credits and subscriptions.
Strengths
- Visual 2D and 3D composition before generation
- Image and video creation in one studio
- Open-source desktop app and hosted browser interface
Limitations
- Model availability and generation costs vary by provider
- Free app code does not make hosted generation unlimited or free
- Linux is documented as a source build rather than a stable download
