About Audyssey MultEQ-X
Audyssey MultEQ-X is a Windows app for calibrating home AV receivers that have Audyssey MultEQ room equalization built in, such as Denon and Marantz models. It moves calibration off the receiver and onto a PC, giving more control over the parameters and more detail about the acoustics of the room.
It shows measured frequency responses for each channel, lets you set a target curve for every channel and preset, adds a Cutoff Mode for curve design, supports subwoofer level adjustment with slow and super-slow rates, and allows manual override of all automatically detected parameters. Audyssey also sells the ACM1-X calibrated microphone as a companion accessory.
