About Bambu Studio

Bambu Studio is the slicing software for Bambu Lab printers, though it also drives other machines. It descends from PrusaSlicer, which descends from Slic3r, so the underlying parameters will look familiar, but Bambu added a project-based workflow, management of multiple build plates, auto-arrange and auto-orient, and remote control and monitoring of a networked printer.

Its multi-material tooling is the standout: painting colours onto a model, tree and hybrid supports you can paint by hand, and flushing transition filament into infill instead of wasting it. It also reads STEP files directly and supports arc moves, which some other slicers still do not.
