About Basic Pitch
Basic Pitch converts a recording of a single instrument or a voice into a MIDI file. On the web demo you can record yourself singing or drop in a WAV or MP3 of piano, guitar or another instrument, and it returns MIDI with pitch bends detected.
The MIDI file can then be downloaded and corrected in a digital audio workstation. The model is downloaded to the browser, and the source code is published on GitHub by Spotify.
