About Bisq

Bisq is a desktop application for buying and selling bitcoin in exchange for national currencies or other cryptocurrencies. Trades happen on a peer-to-peer network of users running Bisq on their own machines. There is no registration or identity verification, and your data is stored locally rather than on a central server.

Bisq never holds your funds. Trade deposits sit in 2-of-2 multisig wallets, and every node runs as a Tor hidden service by default. Builds are available for Windows, macOS and Debian or Red Hat based Linux. There are also Android and iOS notification apps and a newer Bisq Easy mobile app.
