About Blocky
Blocky is a single-binary DNS proxy that filters queries against blocklists, forwards upstream over DNS-over-HTTPS or DNS-over-TLS, caches results and applies per-client rules through a YAML configuration. It is aimed at small hosts and containers rather than appliances with dashboards.
Strengths
- One small binary with no database, ideal for containers and small boards
- Per-client and per-group blocking rules, with encrypted upstream resolvers
Limitations
- Configuration is YAML only; there is no built-in administration interface
