Bugzilla is a general-purpose bug tracking and testing tool first developed for the Mozilla project and used by many open-source projects and companies. Teams use it to file, triage and follow bugs and plan releases.
It runs on Linux, other Unix systems, Windows and macOS, and the repository includes a Docker Compose setup for a quick trial. Development is now managed by an independently funded nonprofit; version 5.2 was released in 2024 and work continues on the repository.
