About Campfire
Campfire is an installable group chat system that you host on your own server. You download it and run one command. It covers the basics that Slack or Teams users expect: rooms that are open to the whole organization or private to some members, direct messages, @mentions, saved searches in the sidebar, mobile support and a dark mode.
Because you host it and get the code, your data stays on your server and you can customize the app for your own use. It has no subscription.
