About Cemu
Cemu emulates the Wii U well enough that most of the library is playable, with graphics packs from the community adding higher resolutions, frame rate patches and texture replacements that go beyond what the original hardware managed.
It was closed source until 2022 and is now developed in the open under the MPL. Windows gets an installer and a portable build; Linux is available on Flathub. The native macOS build is explicitly experimental, with known performance problems from MoltenVK and Rosetta on Apple silicon, and the project asks for patience rather than claiming it works.
As with any console emulator, you supply the games and system files yourself.
