About ChimeraOS
ChimeraOS aims to bring a console experience to an ordinary PC. It boots into a controller-friendly interface centred on Steam Big Picture, gives access to games from many platforms, and applies automatic updates in the background.
It is often described as an alternative to SteamOS for hardware Valve does not support. It suits a living-room PC or a dedicated gaming box rather than a general-purpose desktop.
