About CoMaps
CoMaps is a community-run offline map app based on OpenStreetMap data and forked from Organic Maps. Search and turn-by-turn routing for walking, cycling and driving work with GPS alone, with voice announcements and no mobile data needed.
An outdoor mode highlights hiking trails, campsites and water sources, and you can turn on contour lines. Offline Wikipedia articles give background on places along the way. A public transport layer covers subway and light rail in a growing number of cities. The app aims to use little battery.
