Commit is a focused text editor that helps you write better Git commit messages. You set it as the editor Git opens when you commit, so the message is written in a dedicated desktop window rather than in a terminal editor.
It is built for the GNOME desktop, distributed on Flathub and released under the GPL. It is a separate project from Commix, the command injection testing tool.
