About ConnectBot
ConnectBot is a secure shell client for Android, described by its developers as the first SSH client for the platform. It opens an encrypted connection to a remote machine so you can work in its shell from your phone, with the aim of also transferring files between the phone and the server.
Kenny Root leads development with contributions from the community. Stable versions are published on Google Play and GitHub releases, and open beta and closed alpha testing groups provide early builds. It suits administrators and developers who need occasional terminal access to servers while away from a computer.
