About Contrast Ratio
Contrast Ratio shows the contrast between a background color and a text color as you type, with a colored indicator and sample text in normal, italic and bold styles. It handles semi-transparent backgrounds by giving the ratio with an error margin, and number values inside color functions can be nudged with the arrow keys.
The tool was created by Lea Verou and is now hosted by Siege Media. It suits web designers and developers checking that text colors meet WCAG accessibility guidelines.
