About CotEditor
CotEditor is a lightweight text editor built for macOS that looks and behaves like a standard Mac application. It launches quickly and includes syntax highlighting for more than 60 languages, find and replace with ICU regular expressions, split panes, an outline menu and a character inspector for Unicode details.
Settings, themes and syntax definitions are all changed from a normal settings window rather than configuration files, and documents are backed up automatically while you edit. It is scriptable and available from the Mac App Store.
