About CrystalDiskMark

CrystalDiskMark is what people run to check whether a new SSD is performing as advertised, or whether an old drive has slowed down. It measures sequential and random read, write and mixed performance, with peak, real-world and demo modes covering different queue depths and thread counts.

It is freeware from Crystal Dew World, the same developer as CrystalDiskInfo, and runs on everything from Windows XP to 11 across x86, x64 and ARM64. There is a portable build alongside the installer, and alternative editions with anime artwork that are functionally identical.
