About DataBackup
DataBackup is an Android app for backing up and restoring installed apps together with their data, as well as media files. It targets Android 7.0 and later and needs a rooted device. It grew out of speed-backup, a backup script by another developer, and was created with that author's consent.
The project is developed openly on GitHub. Usage instructions are in its documentation. It suits people who reinstall ROMs or move between devices and want to keep app data.
