About dcm2niix
dcm2niix converts medical images in DICOM format to NIfTI files used in neuroimaging. It can also create BIDS JSON sidecars and offers options for output naming, directory selection and series handling.
The command-line program is available for Linux, macOS and Windows. The project notes that it drops support for legacy image formats that its predecessor dcm2nii handled.
