About Deluge
Deluge splits into a daemon and a client, so it can run on a server and be driven from a desktop GTK client, a web interface or the console from anywhere. Most behaviour comes from plugins: scheduling, label-based routing, ratio rules and execution hooks.
Strengths
- Daemon plus thin clients lets one instance be driven from desktop, browser or console
- Plugin system covers labels, scheduling and automatic actions
Limitations
- Releases are infrequent and the interface looks dated
- Getting daemon, authentication and web interface talking takes some setup
