DevManView lists every device on the system in a flat table instead of a tree, with properties such as install, connect and disconnect times. Devices can be enabled, disabled or uninstalled from the interface or the command line, and desktop shortcuts can be created for these actions.
It can also read the device list of a remote computer where you have administrator rights, or of another Windows installation on a disk, where disabling a faulty device can help a system that fails to boot. Lists export to text, CSV, HTML or XML.
Strengths
- All devices and properties visible in one sortable table
- Enable, disable and uninstall devices from the command line
- Can disable devices in an offline Windows installation
- Supports Windows 2000 through Windows 11
Limitations
- Changing devices requires running as administrator
- 64-bit Windows needs the x64 build to enable or disable devices
- Disabling remote devices works only on Windows 2000, XP and 2003 targets
