About DjVuLibre
DjVuLibre is a GPL implementation of DjVu, a format for distributing scanned documents, digital documents and high-resolution images. It includes a standalone viewer, decoders, simple encoders and command-line utilities for working with DjVu files.
It runs on Unix systems with X11. The newer portable viewer, DjView4, is distributed as a separate package. It suits people who read scanned books and papers in DjVu and want tools to convert or inspect them from the command line.
