About dnSpyEx

dnSpyEx continues the dnSpy project. It lets you open .NET assemblies without their source code, decompile them into readable code, debug them and edit them. That makes it useful for inspecting how a program works, investigating suspicious .NET binaries and patching assemblies.

It is a fork of the original dnSpy repository, which is no longer maintained, and keeps the same layout of extensions and libraries. It is built as a Windows desktop application.
