About Docparser

Docparser pulls data out of business documents such as invoices, bank statements, purchase orders, contracts and PDF forms. It uses zonal OCR, pattern recognition and anchor keywords to find the fields you set up in parsing rules.

Documents can be uploaded directly, imported from Dropbox, Box, Google Drive or OneDrive, sent by email or submitted through a REST API. Extracted data can go to Excel, Google Sheets and many other integrations. It suits teams that process recurring documents with a consistent layout.

Strengths

  • Zonal OCR with rule-based extraction
  • Imports from cloud storage, email and API
  • Exports to Excel, Google Sheets and other apps
  • Handles PDF, Word, CSV, XLS, TXT, XML and images

Limitations

  • Documents are processed in the cloud
  • Parsing rules need setting up per document type
