docsify turns a folder of Markdown files into a documentation website. Instead of generating static HTML files, it loads and parses the Markdown in the browser when a page is visited. You create an index.html file that loads docsify and deploy it alongside your Markdown, for example on GitHub Pages.
It includes multiple themes, a full-text search plugin, a plugin API, emoji support, Vue compatibility and an offline mode as a progressive web app. Version 5.0.0 is current. It suits project documentation where a simple setup matters more than prebuilt pages.
