About Dokku
Dokku builds and runs applications from a Git push using buildpacks or a Dockerfile, managing processes, domains, certificates and linked datastores through plugins. It is deliberately small, running the whole platform on one machine.
Strengths
- A Heroku-style git push deploy on a server you already own
- Plugin system covers Postgres, Redis, certificates and scheduling
Limitations
- Single-server by design; scaling out needs something else
- Command-line driven, with no built-in web interface
