About Duc
Duc builds a database of accumulated directory sizes and lets you query it through a command line, an ncurses interface, an X or OpenGL graphical view, or a web CGI interface. Once indexing is complete, browsing is fast because nothing has to be rescanned.
It has been tested on systems with more than 500 million files and several petabytes of storage. Duc is packaged in Debian and Ubuntu, and source releases are on GitHub. It suits administrators of large file servers who need to find what fills a disk.
