Elephas indexes your files and notes locally on the Mac and lets you ask questions grounded in them, with answers pointing back to the source page. You can collect material into separate "Super Brain" spaces, such as legal or research notes.
It can use cloud models including GPT-5, Claude and Gemini. Before anything goes to a cloud model it redacts 28 types of sensitive data, and an offline mode keeps all processing on the device. It targets consultants, lawyers, accountants and researchers. A Windows version has a waitlist.
