About EncryptPad
EncryptPad is an application for viewing and editing symmetrically encrypted text, and for encrypting and decrypting binary files on disk. It uses the OpenPGP file format from RFC 4880, but unlike most OpenPGP software it focuses on symmetric encryption with a passphrase, a key file or both.
It has a graphical interface and a command-line tool, a portable mode and an optional FakeVim editing mode. Key files can be fetched from remote storage with CURL. The project documents its known weaknesses and packages for Windows, macOS and several Linux distributions.
