About Evolution
Evolution puts email, a calendar, an address book, tasks and memos in one window, the way Outlook does. It speaks IMAP, POP3, SMTP, CalDAV and CardDAV, and an Exchange Web Services plugin connects to Microsoft 365 accounts, which is why it is still installed on a lot of corporate Linux desktops.
It integrates with the GNOME desktop for notifications, online accounts and search. Development is steady rather than fast, and the interface follows GNOME conventions rather than trying to look like anything else.
