About Filestash
Filestash gives a browser file manager over many storage back ends including S3, FTP, SFTP, WebDAV, NFS, SMB, Git and Dropbox, with previews, an editor, sharing links and per-back-end authentication. The server holds no data of its own.
Strengths
- One web interface over a long list of storage back ends
- Stores nothing itself; it is a client in front of your existing storage
Limitations
- Some features and back ends need the paid enterprise edition
- A single instance with broad credentials is a sensitive target
