About FreePBX
FreePBX is a self-hosted IP PBX with a web interface for setting up and managing a business phone system. It is free to download and use and is maintained by a global community of developers, with a wiki knowledge base for help.
The core can be extended with commercial modules from Sangoma and other add-ons to turn it into a fuller unified communications system. Sangoma also sells IP phones with zero-touch provisioning for FreePBX and SIP trunking through SIPStation for connecting calls to the outside world.
