GitComet is a desktop Git client for Linux, macOS and Windows, built in Rust with gix and gpui. You can stage by file, hunk or single line from the diff gutter. Its merge tool aligns base, local and remote versions row by row and settles whitespace moves, one-sided edits and duplicate changes automatically.
Interactive rebase works by dragging commits to reorder them, then choosing pick, reword, squash, fixup or drop. Repositories stay local, with no account or sync. It is licensed under AGPL-3.0, and a Professional edition is announced.
