About Gitfox
Gitfox is a Git client for Mac built as a native app rather than on Electron. It compares any two commits, branches or tags, offers several diff layouts with whitespace drawing and multiple diff algorithms, shows inline blame annotations and can diff images side by side.
The commit editor autocompletes file paths, commit hashes and Gitmoji, and can look up issues from GitHub, GitLab, Gitea and Jira Cloud. Snapshots save changes without disturbing the working tree, and AI can generate commit messages. Version 4.0.0 requires macOS 26 or later.
