About Google Fit

Google Fit tracks activity from a phone or smartwatch and sets goals around Heart Points, a measure developed with the American Heart Association. You earn one point per minute of moderate activity and two for more intense exercise such as running.

The app offers coaching tips based on your activity history and lets you follow your progress over time. It also works with many other fitness, nutrition, sleep and meditation apps and devices, which can share their data with it.
