About Grocy
Grocy tracks what is in the pantry and fridge with expiry dates, consumes stock as recipes are cooked, builds shopping lists from minimum stock levels, and also handles chores, equipment manuals and battery replacement schedules. It runs as a small PHP application with a SQLite database.
Strengths
- Stock, expiry dates, recipes and shopping lists work as one connected system
- Small PHP and SQLite footprint that runs on almost anything
Limitations
- Keeping stock accurate means scanning or entering every purchase and use
