About HazeOver
HazeOver automatically dims background windows on a Mac, leaving the window you are working in highlighted. This makes it easier to see which window has focus before typing or pasting, keeps a busy desktop from feeling cluttered without minimising anything, and helps on large displays or across multiple monitors, where it can highlight a window on each screen.
It also lowers glare behind dark mode content. The current version requires macOS Ventura 13 or later. It is sold through the Mac App Store and Setapp, and a free trial is available.
