Hideout is a small Linux desktop application that encrypts and decrypts files using GnuPG under the hood. It puts a simple graphical interface on top of GnuPG so you can protect files without learning its command-line options.
Because it relies on GnuPG, encrypted files use a widely supported format that other GnuPG tools can open. It is a small project written in D and distributed on Flathub and as a Snap.
