About innernet
innernet runs a coordination server that hands out addresses and manages which peers may reach which, then configures WireGuard on each machine accordingly. Peers join through single-use invitation files rather than manual key exchange.
Strengths
- Invitation-based enrolment removes manual WireGuard key exchange
- Access rules between groups of peers are defined centrally
Limitations
- Linux focused, with limited support elsewhere
- You run the coordination server yourself
