About Input Leap
Input Leap lets one keyboard and mouse control several machines on a network: move the pointer off the edge of one screen and it appears on the next, with the clipboard following. It is a maintained community fork of Barrier, which itself forked from Synergy.
Strengths
- One keyboard and mouse across Windows, macOS and Linux machines at once
- Clipboard shared between the connected computers
Limitations
- Wayland support is still incomplete on Linux
- Releases are infrequent and setup involves firewall and certificate steps
