About Key Codes
Key Codes displays the key code, Unicode value and modifier key state for any key combination you press. It is mainly useful to developers writing keyboard shortcuts or handling keyboard events, and to anyone working out what a particular key actually sends.
It is a free download from Many Tricks and also available on the Mac App Store. Version 2.2.3 requires macOS 10.13 High Sierra or newer, and older versions remain available.
