About Konversation
Konversation is an Internet Relay Chat client from the KDE community, aimed at being easy for beginners while staying configurable. It connects to standard IRC networks such as Libera, where KDE's own channels live, and is the default IRC client in openSUSE, Kubuntu and the KDE spin of Fedora.
It supports DCC for direct file transfers and chats between users, coloured messages, command aliases, configurable tab placement, automatic UTF-8 detection and per-channel encodings. An embedded terminal is also included. It runs on Linux, Windows and FreeBSD.
