About Koodo Reader

Koodo Reader opens EPUB, PDF, DRM-free MOBI and AZW3, plain text, FictionBook, comic archives, Markdown, DOCX and HTML. It runs on Windows, macOS, Linux, Android, iOS and in a browser, so the same library follows you around.

Its sync model is the interesting part: instead of a vendor cloud, it backs up and syncs through whichever storage you nominate, including OneDrive, Google Drive, Dropbox, iCloud, MEGA, pCloud, Box, FTP, SFTP, WebDAV, SMB or S3-style object storage. It can also sync reading progress with KOReader and push notes and highlights to Readwise, Notion, Obsidian or Joplin. The project states it has no tracking services.
