About Kopia
Kopia takes snapshots of the folders you nominate, deduplicates and compresses them, encrypts them on your machine and uploads them to storage you control: cloud object storage, a network share, a server, or a local disk.
Unlike most tools in this space it ships a real desktop application alongside the CLI, so you can create snapshots, set retention policies and restore files without touching a terminal. It does not image your whole machine; you pick the directories that matter.
