LANDrop works like AirDrop across platforms. It finds other devices running LANDrop on the same Wi-Fi network, so you do not type IP addresses or set up a server. Photos and videos are sent without compression, and transfers are encrypted and authenticated.

It runs on iOS, Android, Android TV, macOS, Windows and Linux. It works over a personal hotspot without using cellular data. It can also reach nearby devices that are not on the same network using WebRTC. Trusted devices can send files without asking for approval each time.
