About Ligolo-ng
Ligolo-ng builds reverse tunnels that appear as an ordinary network interface on the operator's machine, so traffic routes natively without SOCKS proxies or proxychains. It is used for network pivoting during authorised penetration tests.
Strengths
- A real TUN interface means every tool works normally, with no SOCKS wrapper
- Single agent and proxy binary, with an interactive session manager
Limitations
- Only for networks you are authorised to test
- Creating the interface requires elevated privileges on the operator's machine
