About lldpd
lldpd sends and receives Link Layer Discovery Protocol notifications so administrators can identify neighboring network devices and the ports connecting them. It also supports some proprietary link-layer protocols and provides an SNMP subagent for net-snmp.
It runs on FreeBSD, GNU/Linux, macOS, NetBSD, OpenBSD and Solaris. Windows is not supported.
